Before Corona hit, I had been in the practice of doing observational drawing regularly out and about. But once we all went into lockdown I found I had to be creative with opportunities to draw. Luckily, we have a back garden, and over the course of the spring and summer, I have made many drawings there. In order not to get too bored with the same view, I've found that it's a good opportunity to try out different materials, palettes and perspectives. Here is a selection of the most recent drawings I've done in May/June. What have you been doing while you've been in lockdown to keep the creative juices flowing? I'd love to hear!
