Lunar Lion
Lunar Lion and his friends set out to stop a great grey wolf who is stomping across the earth, causing destruction wherever he goes. But when they finally reach him, they discover he isn’t cruel—just in pain, with a thorn stuck deep in his paw. Together, they find a way to help him, but not without great sacrifice.
A gentle, magical tale about empathy, healing, and the courage it takes to care for others—and the world around us.
Created as a set of illustrations for Folktale Week 2021, an annual celebration of storytelling through art.
