The Prince Who Wanted the Moon
A young prince, surrounded by riches, feels something is missing. He decides the moon will make him happy—and sets off to catch it.
In a nearby village, he asks for help. As he watches the villagers work together—sharing ideas, making things by hand, enjoying each other’s company—he begins to see the world differently. By joining in, he discovers that happiness doesn’t come from owning something grand, but from being part of something real.
A gentle story about creativity, friendship, and the joy of noticing what’s already around you.
For children aged 5–7. Created during the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, 2021.
