HELLO?! Concertina Book

I love to collect and paint Staffordshire and Derbyshire* ceramic figurines and after a few years of painting them regularly at Art Club (my regular online meet-up via my Substack) and in the studio, I decided it was high time I made something with them. I thought a concertina book felt apt, and would be a good way for them to be displayed in the same way you might display real-life figurines on your mantlepiece! I've collected my paintings into two concertina designs; this one I have called "Hello?!" inspired by the "cover" image of Venus holding a shell to her ear! Each concertina comes with a hand made and decorated belly-band. Because each one is made by hand, each design will vary ever so slightly.
 
* and sometimes miscellaneous ceramics or vintage books found at car boot sales, vintage fairs, charity shops etc...
