Summer Sale artwork #24
I love doing the Kings Cross Illustration Fair ever year, a biannual illustration fair in the heart of London, filled to the brim with illustrators and artists seling original artwork, prints ands lots more. I usually spend some time before the fair creative some original artwork, working intuitively, guided by my love of colour, texture and mark-making, and sell them at the fair for LOW LOW prices. It feels fun to create pieces of original artwork people can pick up for affordable prices. I don't usually sell them online, but this year I thought it would be fun to have my own online Virtual Illustrators Fair. So feel free to browse through these pieces - a mixture of original art and archival prints and some screen-prints and monoprints. Everything is priced as low as I can go, so I can clear space to create and sell new artwork for the next fair and here in my online shop. Feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions: ellabeechbooks@gmail.com. Spec and details are below.
This piece is inspired by my love of Staffordshire and Derbyshire* ceramic figurines* - drawing and painting from them inspires me - I find stories and characters in each piece I paint, and I hope that they inspire the same in you!
* and sometimes miscellaneous ceramics or vintage books found at car boot sales, vintage fairs, charity shops etc...
