I'm Ella Beech, a children's book illustrator based in Cambridge, UK. I make all my work by hand, primarily acrylic ink, watercolour and a variety of pencils and crayons over the top.
My books have been published by The Folio Society, Thames & Hudson, Magic Cat, DK and Wide Eyed Editions. My debut picture book, The Night Before Christmas (The Folio Society), was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Awards, and Dear Vincent was selected for the BolognaRagazzi Amazing Bookshelf 2025.
